What is Computational Linguistics?

 

One of my tasks during the internship was a research paper on the origin and translation of the following terms directly related to my specialty. In modern English-language professional literature, for designation computer linguistics as a discipline, the following terms are used:

-  Computational Linguistics

- Natural Language Processing

- Human Language Technology

- Engineering Linguistics

- Language Engineering

 Its essence was to compare them and choose the best term to describe my curriculum.
